Make a difference for God and humanity
At Gardner-Webb University, our student ministries make a difference in the community. From Campus Ministries United (CMU), The Gathering, mission trips, and Fellowship of Christians United in Service (FOCUS) to small groups, men’s and women’s Bible studies, and more, students have opportunities to plug in and spread the good news.
Heart, soul, mind, strength
Gardner-Webb’s Christian foundation is based on Mark 12:29–31, which says, “The Lord our God is one, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” The directive to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength provides direction for the development of people who will go forth into the word as graduates enabled to live out the University’s motto.
