Drew University has its roots in the Methodist church with the founding of the Drew Theological School in 1867. Religion and spiritual life are part of the University’s history and community fabric. With a commitment to holistic wellbeing—mind, body, and spirit—Drew offers opportunities to engage fully in current religious understandings and commitments as well as to explore and discover different ways to express spirituality and wholeness. We worship, celebrate, mark life milestones, and find common goals toward social justice, ethical decision-making, and community service.
