Both the School of Health Professions and the School of Nursing & Allied Health at Saint Joseph's University offer a wide range of opportunities to help you reach your goals no matter your path. Join an exciting, fast-growing health care field by pursuing a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Or choose an accelerated pathway to pursue advanced careers in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy. We are also home to the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, the first college of pharmacy in North America. Our programs feature a rigorous, established curriculum paired with our Jesuit liberal arts core, preparing you with the necessary hard skills to succeed in your profession and the soft skills in critical thinking, communication, and decision-making to succeed in life.

Experiential learning
At Saint Joseph's, you'll not only have the opportunity to interface with health care organizations during your studies but also collaborate with students and faculty outside of your discipline. Nursing students get hands-on experience in our clinical simulation space and receive guaranteed clinical placements with Penn Medicine: University of Pennsylvania Health System and Main Line Health. You can also make an impact by participating in community service such as our on-campus, pro bono clinic, which provides free PT and OT services to the West Philadelphia community.
