Our 72 faculty members are supported by 33 staff members—all of whom share one mission: to help you get a degree and put you on a path to success. Our 12 student-led organizations provide you the opportunity to network with your peers and even provide you with the ability to meet with and receive mentoring from our alumni.
The ultimate goal: landing that job
Our Office of Career Preparation, combined with special programs like the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship were created with the goal of providing our students with the resources they need to get a job after college or even learn about to become a successful entrepreneur. Based on our last survey of graduates, 80% of graduates had secured a job after graduation. In fact, 12 members of that class had even started their own business!

Points of pride

• Each year, members of the Ole Miss Financiers' Club compete in the Tennessee Valley Authority's Investment Challenge, where students actively manage the organization's investment portfolio.
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship inspires students at the University of Mississippi to create innovative businesses through excellent teaching, exceptional service, and world-class research. Overall, the center’s purpose is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to become successful entrepreneurs who create innovative companies that provide valuable services, products, and employment. Since August 2014, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) has assisted roughly 60 student-led startup businesses, and four of the past five winners of the Gillespie Business Plan Competition are still thriving.
