Our university was founded by the Catholic bishops of the United States, with a charter from then Pope Leo XIII, to be the national university of the Catholic Church in America. For more than 130 years, we have lived out our mission to discover and impart the truth through excellence in teaching and research. Catholic University scholars in all fields embrace both reason and faith as they apply the inexhaustible resources of the Catholic intellectual tradition to solve contemporary issues and enrich the culture around us.
Busch School of Business
In the Busch School of Business, students find a rigorous business curriculum grounded in Catholic Social Teaching and emphasizing Christian virtues and ethics. Our classes prepare students for a successful career in business and to find greater meaning in life. Our goal is to transform the world of business into a force for change, bettering the world we live in.
The Busch School of Business offers 15 specializations within the BS in Business Administration, plus the Bachelor of Science in Accounting. These are all designed to help students sharpen their focus, polish their skills, and position themselves on successful career paths. And every degree program teaches students how to apply the principles they’ve learned in a way that respects human dignity and benefits the common good.
Students who study business are changemakers with their sights set on a future both more ethical and innovative. Plus, you can study and intern in some of the most exciting and influential sectors of the field, in one of the greatest cities in the world. Our graduates leave equipped with the knowledge and ability to excel in top positions at places like Google, NetApp, Ernst & Young, and countless others.
