Hardworking business students who innovate, inspire, and achieve

With determination and passion, the Cardinals in our Carmona College of Business soar to new heights and excel as leaders and professionals. Our world-class programs are led by experts and accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This means our students graduate from one of the top 5% of business schools in the world and stand out in the job market.

Personalized programs of study
At SVSU, we set ourselves apart with specialized degree programs that allow our students to follow their unique paths. For example, our Bachelor of Professional Accountancy (BPA) program reaches far beyond the typical undergraduate level of accounting to prepare students to excel on the CPA exam and fast-track a successful career in public accounting. Concentrations in programs like Family Business Management and Professional Sales allow our students to explore which areas of business spark their passion.

Real-world experience using state-of-the-art facilities
We know where you study affects how you learn. That's why the University invested in top-notch learning spaces for our students and built a new $25 million business building, which opened in 2020. Our innovative facilities allow students to combine classroom knowledge with practical experience as well as interact with faculty and business executives. Instead of being limited to a typical classroom, our new additions create a real-world environment, including:
The Consumer Behavior Lab, which provides a space for students to research, lead focus groups, and learn firsthand how consumers make decisions
The Research & Innovation Hub, which serves as an adaptive space for students to interact and freely share ideas with their peers, professors, and members of Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region business community
The Finance & Big Data Lab, which simulates the live trading of Wall Street and uses state-of-the-art technology like the Blomberg platform to teach students how to analyze and apply financial data

Supportive and experienced professors
Our industry-connected professors are committed to your success and challenge you to maximize your potential. They work with you one-on-one to provide personalized mentoring and guide you to reach your goals. SVSU students have endless opportunities to conduct original research, present their work at national and international conferences, immerse themselves in global business practices while studying abroad, and gain practical fieldwork experience. Here, your personal and professional success is our top priority, and we are dedicated to helping you succeed.
