At Pacific University, we are committed to an interprofessional model of learning. Our students work together across programs to better understand the complexities of the changing healthcare system and to learn to collaborate in the best interest of the individuals and the communities they will serve.
Our hands-on clinical experiences take place in our own practices and at many clinical facilities throughout our region, nationally, and internationally. Our faculty members are engaged in collaborative research involving students at every level in efforts to discover better ways of promoting health and wellness in individuals and communities. Our numerous civic engagement opportunities offer our students the chance to care for underserved populations from Portland to Mexico to China while building the skills to provide compassionate care to a diverse base of clients.
