Dr. Janani Krishnaswami, MD, MPH, is one of a small group of physicians triple board–certified in preventive medicine, internal medicine, and lifestyle medicine. She has served as a leader, mentor, and educator at major academic institutions across the country, working with students at the undergraduate, medical school, and residency levels. She developed and directed educational and social programs building health equity and prevention in diverse and underserved communities and has written on humanism in medicine, health equity, innovation in lifestyle medicine, and community engagement. Her essays, interviews, and opinions have appeared in notable publications, health care blogs, and leading medical journals. She has been a featured guest speaker for news media, medical conferences, and medical education podcasts.
