It’s easy for germs and sicknesses to spread at schools with students packed in classrooms together, especially during the winter. If you aren’t learning remotely and are attending class in person, you need to make sure you’re taking precautions (especially with COVID-19) to make sure you stay healthy. How to stay healthy at school
Keeping yourself healthy may seem like a no-brainer, but sometimes we forget about the simple things we can do to prevent sickness. After all, we don’t often think about getting sick until we’re already there. Here are some preventative measures you can take in your day-to-day life to avoid getting sick:
- Take your vitamins
- Drink tea to help your immune system and anxiety
- Use hand sanitizer
- Use a face mask if you’re sick or in public (whether it’s COVID-19 or a cold, wearing a mask can help you and others stay healthy)
- Get plenty of rest and sleep
- Find ways to manage your stress levels
- Don’t drink other people’s drinks
- Wash your hands
