This holiday season, CollegeXpress is excited to bring back our annual CX Gives Back Giveaway—a week of fun, prizes, scholarships, and giving back to wonderful charities and our incredible student community! Mark your calendars from December 9–13, 2024 as we roll out five days of daily challenges on Instagram, so you have a chance to win some money and support great causes at the same time.
How to enter our daily giveaways
To participate in CX Gives Back, all you need to do is enter our special CX Gives Back Scholarship, follow @CollegeXpress on Instagram, like each day’s Instagram post, and answer the daily question in the comments of that day’s post.
You only need to enter the scholarship once to be eligible for the whole week. Just create a free CollegeXpress account, enter the scholarship contest, and then you’re all set for a chance to win the award and participate in all the Instagram contests the rest of the week! If you already have a CollegeXpress account, you can enter the scholarship contest by visiting our Featured Scholarships page and clicking the scholarship link. (Please note: Entering the CX Gives Back Scholarship contest more than once will not increase your chances of winning.)
Frequently asked questions about CX Gives Back
- When is the giveaway? This year’s giveaway runs from Monday, December 9 to Friday, December 13—and each day is another chance to win! The deadline to enter each day is 11:59 pm ET.
- What can I win? Each day of the CX Gives Back Giveaway, one lucky winner will snag a $100 Amazon gift card, and CollegeXpress will donate $100 to a different charity, which you can learn more about below.
- How do I win? Just complete each daily challenge (adhering to the rules listed above) before midnight on each contest day. You’ll also need to have a CollegeXpress account and enter our CX Gives Back Scholarship in order to win these Instagram contests. You can create a free CX account here to get a head start, or find the scholarship application on our Featured Scholarships page if you’ve already signed up for CX!
- How are the winners chosen? The day after each daily contest, we’ll choose one random winner from the eligible participants and contact them through Instagram, so be sure to check your DMs and visit @CollegeXpress for updates throughout the week.
